The Linear Sampled-Data Model of an Induction Motor Driven by Voltage Source Inverter

This paper presents the transient analysis of an induction motor driven by voltage source inverter. State variable techniques are employed to describe the system exactly. The system is linearized about its equilibrium state to obtain a linear sampled-data model. The stability nature is studied by examining the eigen values of the linear model. Moreover, this model is useful in computing transient responses.
