Then we found the importance to empower the farmers and retailers in order to develop social system to reduce the amount of waste from fruit and vegetable. We prepared a guideline for them and tried to disseminating. But we soon found that it is difficult to change the habit or custom of farmers and retailers in the actual social system. Consequently, we decided to begin with working on high school students through education.
