In this research, we define the context in which employees speak up and remain silent as “channel”. A situation where there are multiple channels in the workplace is defined as “multi-channel”. Employees choose to remain silent or speak up by switching channels, but they cannot always switch channels. For example, multi-channel of employee silence and voice change(i.e., limit or add to)depending on the changing social environment surrounding the workplace. Therefore, this study aims to clarify how the multi-channel changes caused by the spread of COVID-19 affect prosocial silence. This study uses interviews as qualitative research to identify the mechanisms and employees\u0027 dilemmas regarding their choice of prosocial silence and voice in computer-mediated communication(CMC). 内容記述 | In the workplace, employees choose when, where, and to whom to be silent or to voice depending on the situation. In this research, we define the context in which employees speak up and remain silent as “channel”. A situation where there are multiple channels in the workplace is defined as “multi-channel”. Employees choose to remain silent or speak up by switching channels, but they cannot always switch channels. For example, multi-channel of employee silence and voice change(i.e., limit or add to)depending on the changing social environment surrounding the workplace. Therefore, this study aims to clarify how the multi-channel changes caused by the spread of COVID-19 affect prosocial silence.
