In this study, therefore, we clarified the present states and issues of collaboration between nutrition staff and school personnel as well as support systems in food-related guidance. In addition, we clarified the present state of education on lifestyle-related diseases in food-related guidance. As the study method, we used the questionnaire survey of a total of 355 nutrition staff members in three districts of A, B, and C. The items that students need to acquire through school meal / dietary education are diverse, and the priority placed on prevention of lifestyle-related diseases was not high among the goals of food-related guidance. Furthermore, many nutritionists think they have not studied enough to implement education on prevention of lifestyle-related diseases. As such, there are issues regarding education on prevention of lifestyle-related diseases.
