Cultures were initiated with bloodstream forms from infected ICR mice. By day 8 a maximum density of 1.8×10^7 parasites/ml/day was obtained from new fibroblasts derived from muscles and brain. Lcells, established fibroblasts from muscles and new fibroblasts from heart, kidney and skin could not support the growth.
