The present study aimed to identify the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes and\ndyslipidemia among patients with IHD and examine associations between each of them with IHD in a Japanese population.\nMethods Data were collected from health insurance claims in May 2010 for National Health Insurance beneficiaries aged 40-\n79 years in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. One sex- and age-matched control was randomly selected for each of 42,236 patients\nwith IHD (International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision code: I20-25). The prevalence of hypertension, diabetes and\ndyslipidemia and the number of these risk factors were compared between the patients and controls. Associations between\nrisk factors and IHD were examined using a conditional logistic regression model.\nResults Over 90% of patients with IHD had at least one of hypertension, diabetes or dyslipidemia. The odds of IHD were 4.5-\nfold (95% confidence interval [CI]: 4.3, 4.7), 4.2-fold (95% CI: 3.9, 4.6) and 5.3-fold (95% CI: 4.9, 5.7) higher for patients with\nhypertension, diabetes and dyslipidemia, respectively, compared with patients without any of these risk factors. Patients with\nseveral risk factors were at increased risk for IHD.\nConclusion Comprehensive risk reduction strategies that encourage a healthy lifestyle and diet and promote the recognition,\nevaluation and management of conventional risk factors are important to prevent IHD.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_3_description_64":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Acta Medica Nagasakiensia, 57(1), pp.13-18; 2012","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Nagasaki University School of Medicine"}]},"item_3_relation_42":{"attribute_name":"関係URI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"http://hdl.handle.net/10069/29707"}]}]},"item_3_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA00508430","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_3_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"00016055","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_3_text_62":{"attribute_name":"sortkey","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"03"}]},"item_3_text_63":{"attribute_name":"出版者別言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"長崎大学医学部"}]},"item_3_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Huang, Hairong"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"40608","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ye, Zhaojia"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"40609","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nagahama, Iyoko"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"40610","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Tazoe, Hideaki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"40611","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Abe, Yasuyo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"40612","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Aoyagi, Kiyoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"40613","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-22"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"ActMed57_13.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"131.8 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"ActMed57_13.pdf","url":"https://nagasaki-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/10099/files/ActMed57_13.pdf"},"version_id":"28586eb6-b4f5-4cb7-8938-c2e2fb2703cc"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Hypertension","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"diabetes","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"dyslipidemia","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"ischemic heart disease","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"medical claim","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Impact of Hypertension, Diabetes and Dyslipidemia on Ischemic Heart Disease among Japanese: A Case-Control Study Based on National Health Insurance Medical Claims","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Impact of Hypertension, Diabetes and Dyslipidemia on Ischemic Heart Disease among Japanese: A Case-Control Study Based on National Health Insurance Medical Claims"}]},"item_type_id":"3","owner":"2","path":["769"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2012-05-16"},"publish_date":"2012-05-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"10099","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Impact of Hypertension, Diabetes and Dyslipidemia on Ischemic Heart Disease among Japanese: A Case-Control Study Based on National Health Insurance Medical Claims"],"weko_creator_id":"2","weko_shared_id":2},"updated":"2024-04-16T05:30:41.506479+00:00"}
