In this study, the experiments were carried out in order to clear the effects of fly ash on strength, carbonation and chloride-ion penetration of concrete using blast-furnace slag cement mixed fly ash. From the experimental result of the concrete cores exposed in coastal and inland regions for a long term, it was found that in the case of blast-furnace slag cement with 20% fly ash substitution, the carbonation rate coefficient was higher than blast-furnace slag cement.
