[Subjects and Methods] We recruited 10 healthy subjects with no history of neurological diseases. Corticospinal excitability was assessed with the participants seated in front of a computer screen performing three tasks: (1) control, the subjects were instructed to relax; (2) OBS, the subjects were told to observe an action depicted in the video, and (3) OBS + IMG, the subjects were told to imagine performing an action depicted in a video. During tasks (2) and (3), a video was displayed on the computer screen showing the hand of a male subject using chopsticks to move small items of food from one dish to another (first person perspective). Imagery was performed kinesthetically. [Results] The MEP amplitude in the first dorsal interosseous was significantly increased during OBS+IMG relative to that in the control condition, but not that in the OBS condition. The MEP amplitude in the thenar muscles was significantly different between OBS and OBS+IMG. [Conclusion] These results suggest that the combination of observation and motor imagery of a complex task may be more effective than observation alone for motor rehabilitation purposes.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_description_63":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"The Society of Physical Therapy Science, 23(5), pp.703-706; 2011","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"The Society of Physical Therapy Science"}]},"item_2_rights_13":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"Copyright (c) 2011 by the Society of Physical Therapy Science"}]},"item_2_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA10798949","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_2_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"09155287","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_text_62":{"attribute_name":"出版者別言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"理学療法科学学会"}]},"item_2_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ohno, Kanta"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Higashi, Toshio"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Sugawara, Kenichi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ogahara, Kakuya"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Funase, Kozo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Kasai, Tatsuya"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-22"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"JPTS23_703.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"347.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"JPTS23_703.pdf","url":"https://nagasaki-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/12774/files/JPTS23_703.pdf"},"version_id":"18c4703f-1a34-406a-a884-d63d6e54723f"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Action observation","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Complex task","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Motor evoked potential","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Motor imagery","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Excitability Changes in the Human Primary Motor Cortex During Observation with Motor Imagery of Chopstick Use","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Excitability Changes in the Human Primary Motor Cortex During Observation with Motor Imagery of Chopstick Use"}]},"item_type_id":"2","owner":"2","path":["30"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2011-12-27"},"publish_date":"2011-12-27","publish_status":"0","recid":"12774","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Excitability Changes in the Human Primary Motor Cortex During Observation with Motor Imagery of Chopstick Use"],"weko_creator_id":"2","weko_shared_id":2},"updated":"2023-05-15T18:54:41.169391+00:00"}
