A positive photocurrent arising from the photoreduction of ZnTPPC4- was significantly enhanced by adding Au-NPs. The photocurrent enhancement was dependent on the concentration of Au-NPs, the excitation wavelength, and the polarization angle of the excitation light, respectively.
