And their results are reported on the subjects much more with the compressive component of the step force and scarcely with the others, especially the transcurrent one and the torque on the floor. In this paper, there is mentioned about the method of torque measurement and about the behavior of torque in the locomotion by the large force plate. The locomotion might be combined with many torsional motions about the axis of body, which are caused by the swing of shoulder, arms, waist and legs. Their motions should be balancing each other, but a part of them will transmit the torque on the floor, especially in the double stance phase.
