Assuming randomly arriving vehicles with random weight as the compound Poisson process, the response is characterized by a filtered Poisson process. Under this assumption, cumulants for the bending moment and its derivative are derived. The probability distribution functions of the response for simple supported girder bridge are represented by the form of statistical Laguerre expantion series and Hermite expantion series using by these cumulants.
