Remote sensing data used for analysis were obtained with the AVHRR sensor on board NOAA-9 on July 15, 1985. Digital analysis of these AVHRR data yields a sea surface temperature map which shows the Tsushima Current flowing into Japan Sea through the Tsushima Eastern Channel.
