| 内容記述 | The Fugendake of Unzen Volcano erupted on 17 November 1990. More than ten thousands inhabitants were obligated to stay in the temporary dwelling for a long time without their ordinary works. Roads and railway within off-limit area were closed. The long-term volcanic activity rendered severe bad effects on the local economy in commerce and industry, and agriculture. Local governments made effects to support the evacuees. The Ministry of Construction showed a project to construct a superdam for erosion control. The local governments set up the several committees to deliberate the reconstruction plans. Program of city buildup is under investigation. In the present paper, results of investigation on infra-structures of Shimabara City such as urban planning, roads, railroad, harbor, coastical protection, water supply and life line are shown. | |||||||
