Preferential Rules of Origin (ROO) play an important role in determining the eligibility of preferential treatment provided by FTA/EPAs. This paper studies the development of the ROO, mainly the preferential ROO of the 17 EPAs in comparison with the ROO of the FTA/EPAs of the major FTA/EPA players.
