The purpose of this report is to explain the process and the results which the university library has changed the learning support environment based on students' expectations and opinions through student focus interviews conducted by Nagasaki University Library between 2004 and 2008. As the results of renovations to the learning support environment in areas such as facilities, materials and services, student satisfaction levels increased as did the number of library users each year.
