 note = {We clarify the actual condition of landscape control in the Machiya-landscape district in Nagasaki City and Kanazawa City and the effect of spoutaneous landscape-activities by citizens. In addition, we categorize the exterior designs and consider how to deal with the subsidy system and the scenic standards. As a result, landscape control did not proceed well, but spoutaueous autonomous landscape-activities were also seen, and it turned out that they are trying to improve the atmosphere of the town.
