Commercially available poly (ethylene glycol) was changed in its terminal hydroxy group(s) to ammonium head group by two-step sequential tosylation/nucleophilic substitution in order to enable connection with the vanadate framework component. Selforganization of vanadate and the new organic template was successfully processed in the aqueous mixture to precipitate as a composite by adding sodium chloride.
