The authors evaluated whether alpha-actinin-4 might be appropriate as a molecular target for cancer gene therapy. In 64 primary oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs) and 10 normal oral mucosal specimens, and in seven human OSCC cell lines, alpha-actinin-4 expression was evaluated immunologically and correlations with clinicopathologic factors were examined. Overexpression of alpha-actinin-4 was detected in 38 of 64 oral squamous cell carcinomas (70%); significantly more frequently than in normal oral mucosa. The expression of alpha-actinin-4 was significantly associated with invasion potential defined by the Matrigel invasion assay. Cancer cell lines with higher alpha-actinin-4 expression had greater invasive potential. An RNAi-mediated decrease in alpha-actinin-4 expression reduced the invasion potential. These results indicated that the overexpression of alpha-actinin-4 was associated with an aggressive phenotype of OSCC. The study indicated that alpha-actinin-4 could be a potential molecular target for gene therapy by RNAi targeting for OSCC.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_description_63":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"International journal of oral and maxillofacial surgery, 39(1), pp.61-67; 2010","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Elsevier Ltd."}]},"item_2_relation_11":{"attribute_name":"PubMed番号","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isVersionOf","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"19913389","subitem_relation_type_select":"PMID"}}]},"item_2_relation_12":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isVersionOf","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"10.1016/j.ijom.2009.10.003","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_2_rights_13":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"Copyright c 2009 International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Published by Elsevier Ltd."}]},"item_2_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA10682150","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_2_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"09015027","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"EISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1399-0020","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aa","subitem_version_type":"AM"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yamada, Shin-ichi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yanamoto, Souichi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yoshida, Hajime"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yoshitomi, Izumi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Kawasaki, Goro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Mizuno, Akio"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nemoto, Takayuki K."}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-23"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"IJOMS39_61.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"836.2 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"IJOMS39_61.pdf","url":"https://nagasaki-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/16654/files/IJOMS39_61.pdf"},"version_id":"c445cdee-49f4-4132-af8d-b4f51bf493cf"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"α-actinin-4","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"invasion","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"metastasis","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"oral squamous cell carcinoma","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"RNA interference","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"RNAi-mediated down-regulation of alpha-actinin-4 decreases invasion potential in oral squamous cell carcinoma.","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"RNAi-mediated down-regulation of alpha-actinin-4 decreases invasion potential in oral squamous cell carcinoma."}]},"item_type_id":"2","owner":"2","path":["9"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2009-12-04"},"publish_date":"2009-12-04","publish_status":"0","recid":"16654","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["RNAi-mediated down-regulation of alpha-actinin-4 decreases invasion potential in oral squamous cell carcinoma."],"weko_creator_id":"2","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-17T20:39:51.374261+00:00"}
