 note = {There is a resarch field of Business Management in Germany, called "Business Policy." This scientific field was developed after the World War II, amang others, by C. Sandig or K. Bender. From this science, under the influences of American Management Theory, new sciences were born and developed, especially Business Policy, and Decision Making Theory, that is, "Unternehmungspolitik, Managementlehre and Entscheidungsorientierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre." Sandig was more oriented towards "Theory" of Business Policy while K. Bender developed "Art" of Business Policy. This paper examines Bender's book (1957), especially his concepts of decision making and business policy. You could understand some ideas about German business research situations after the War and the biginning of research on Decision Making. Bender not only critisizes Sandig's concept but also evaluates his work.
