The menus of ten schools were analyzed and the following results were obtained. Many schools presented a high average of the ratio of fat-derived energy. Half of the schools marked 25.4% or less for the \"Japanese-style meal\" menus while many marked 32.1% on an average for the \"other type\" menus. At all of the schools, the ratio with the \"deep-fried food included\" menus was higher than that with the \"no deep-fried food included\" menus, 33.0% for the former against 28.5% for the latter on average of the ten schools.
