The Ministry of Education (MEXT) has encouraged universities to make their students study more outside classroom. On the one hand, the Ministry also encourage students to do extra curricular activities. This study explores when and how many hours students study by conducting survey on the students' records of daily study in the Nagasaki University. This paper shows the current pictures of students’ daily study behavior. Moreover, it analyzes the differences of when and how many hours students study in grade and GPA. For example, higher GPA students tend to study before and after class, and between classes.
