Since then, this database and the existing “High-Definition Image Database of Old Photographs of Japan” have been conveying a vast amount of information on Japanese modernization and attracting a huge number of visitors from home and abroad. The success of these distinguished websites has become one of the most significant achievements of our University and also a great contribution to society.
