 note = {学生異動の実態を把握することは，これからの教育を展開していく上で有意義であるとの考えから，長崎大学医療技術短期大学部理学療法学科開設以来10年間の学生身分異動について検討した．　対象は10年間の入学生1023名である．理学療法学科（以下，当学科）に入学した203名については資料・学科会議の内容をもとに退学・休学・留年について，また作業療法学科200名，看護学科620名については資料の関係で退学についてのみ検討した．合わせて，いくつかの他大学短大部の報告との比較も行った．　本短期大学部全体の退学率は2.6％で，当学科は3.9％であった．当学科における留年者の主な理由は学業不振と出席日数不足で，休学者および退学者の主な理由は進路選択の不適切であった．, The authors surveyed and discussed the factors influencing of leavers, long-term absentees, and repeaters among physical therapy students (PTS) for 10 years since the establishment in the School of Allied Medical Sciences, Nagasaki University, compared with that of the nursing and the occupational therapy students in the same school, and that of PTS in two other schools. The percentage of leavers in the department of physical therapy was 3.9%, while the mean value for the three departments was 2.6%. Repeating was mainly attributed to poor grades and insufficient attendance; temporary absence and withdrawal from school may to the wrong career choice. Comparison with the cases of other schools was hindered by a number of factors including regional differences.
