(formerly Marrow-Tech, Inc., La Jolla, California, USA). The chemicals tested were sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), 1-n-hexadecyl-pyridinium chloride monohydrate (CC), ethanol (EtOH), and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Eleven Japanese insititutions participated in this validation research to evaluate the usefulness of the Skin^2 Model ZK1100 kit in accordance with an identical protocol. None of the participating laboratories had previously used the Skin^2 Model ZK1100 kit. The MTT-50 value obtained in the individual institutions was 42 to 91 μg/ml for SDS, 2.7 to 8.6 μg/ml for CC, 2.0 to 9.3% for EtOH, and 11.5 to 21.9% for DMSO. Reproducibility was reasonably good as noted when one test chemical was repetitively tested by the same investigator. MTT-50 values obtained with the present method correlated with DS20 values obtained with Draize's method (r=0.9881) in one of the participant institutions. The irritation study using the Skin^2 Model ZK1100 kit was easy to perform and generated quantitative data. When the test was repeated, reproducibility was demonstrated with a variation of less than 2 6. These data suggested that this newly developed in vitro method would be useful in toxicity screening studies in terms of both time and cost, and would serve as a useful alternative to the conventional methods of the eye irritation study.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_description_63":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Journal of toxicological sciences. 1994, 19(1), p.37-44","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"日本トキシコロジー学会"}]},"item_2_rights_13":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"日本トキシコロジー学会"},{"subitem_rights":"本文データは学協会の許諾に基づきCiNiiから複製したものである"}]},"item_2_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00002808","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_2_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"03881350","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Taniguchi, Yuzo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Suzuki, Keiji"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nakajima, Keiya"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nakajima, Madoka"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Miwa, Yoshihisa"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yamada, Yasushi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Satoh, Matoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Takeyoshi, Masahiro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Akie, Yasuki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Moriyasu, Matsuko"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yamamoto, Hitoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Katagiri, Minoru"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Kazama, Akemi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Watanabe, Masami"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-23"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"ToSc19_1_37_44.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"682.0 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"ToSc19_1_37_44.pdf","url":"https://nagasaki-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/19406/files/ToSc19_1_37_44.pdf"},"version_id":"ef54f09d-8bc0-4786-af99-feaf09f3b218"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"the Skin^2 Dermal Model ZK1100","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Human keratinocyte","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Inter-laboratory varidation study","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Cytotoxicity","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Alternative to eye irritation test","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"INTER-LABORATORY VALIDATION STUDY OF THE SKIN^2 DERMAL MODEL ZK1100 AND MTT CYTOTOXICITY ASSAY KITS","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"INTER-LABORATORY VALIDATION STUDY OF THE SKIN^2 DERMAL MODEL ZK1100 AND MTT CYTOTOXICITY ASSAY KITS"}]},"item_type_id":"2","owner":"2","path":["74"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2008-07-24"},"publish_date":"2008-07-24","publish_status":"0","recid":"19406","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["INTER-LABORATORY VALIDATION STUDY OF THE SKIN^2 DERMAL MODEL ZK1100 AND MTT CYTOTOXICITY ASSAY KITS"],"weko_creator_id":"2","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-16T03:18:59.955526+00:00"}
