Methods: A questionnaire was administered to all nursing staff at 2 public and 2 corporate hospitals all with a bed capacity of over 300 beds. A total of 693 subjects responded. Result: 1）Nurses had an anxiety for medical accident.2）In the combined category of responsibilities, quality of job and workload, in patient, unmarried, nurses working in the same section for between 5 and 10 years and head nurses all had high levels of stress.
