A semi-structured interview survey was conducted on 7 lung cancer patients who were receiving outpatient treatment, using the Japanese version of the PNAT interview guide. Data from the survey were transcribed verbatim, and the contents of the transcription were applied to a 5-rank evaluation in the PNAT subscale score. Low evaluation scores were observed for the following items: unpleasantness and pain in the physical domain, anxiety in the psychological domain, and individual support network in the social domain.
