Attenuated growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) signaling caused by mutations also increases the lifespan of mice, even those allowed to feed freely. In nematodes, the Daf16, mammalian Forkhead box O (FoxO) transcription factor, was shown to be required for lifespan extension in response to reduced IGF-1 signaling. Because DR also decreases the plasma concentration of IGF-1 in mammals, the IGF-1–FoxO axis may play a central role in the lifespan extension effect of DR and, thus, retardation of aging. Studies using knockout mice under DR conditions revealed the importance of FoxO1 and nuclear factor erythroid-derived 2-like 2 (Nrf2) in tumor suppression, and FoxO3 in lifespan extension. Human genomic studies also identified a strong association between a FOXO3 single nucleotide polymorphism and longevity. The aging mechanism is the most important risk factor for disease and frailty in aging humans. Therefore, further research on the application of DR to humans, the development of compounds and drugs that mimic the effects of DR, and mechanisms underlying FOXO3 polymorphisms for longevity is highly relevant to extending the human health span.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_description_63":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Yakugaku zasshi, 144(4), pp.403-409; 2024","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"names":[{"name":"Shimokawa, Isao","nameLang":"en"}]}]},"item_2_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"日本薬学会","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_2_relation_12":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isIdenticalTo","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"10.1248/yakushi.23-00165-3","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_2_rights_13":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"© 2024 The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan","subitem_rights_language":"en"}]},"item_2_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0031-6903","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_text_62":{"attribute_name":"出版者別言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan"}]},"item_2_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"下川, 功","creatorNameLang":"ja"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2024-04-16"}],"filename":"YZ144_403.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"514 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://nagasaki-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2000732/files/YZ144_403.pdf"},"version_id":"8b11c199-7647-4f2d-a6f8-bf204bafcd44"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"longevity","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"dietary restriction","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Forkhead box O transcription factor","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"mitochondria","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"食餌制限モデルから見た老化制御メカニズム","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"食餌制限モデルから見た老化制御メカニズム","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"2","owner":"6","path":["11"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2024-04-16"},"publish_date":"2024-04-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"2000732","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["食餌制限モデルから見た老化制御メカニズム"],"weko_creator_id":"6","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-04-18T23:20:18.951503+00:00"}
