It is not the oppressive power of the medical person, but the power in the medicine that is the power that a patient produces in himself. Rhetoric was used to analyze these power relations. Rhetoric with an element like power intentionally facilitates the thinking and behavior of the object. But, that power is not tinged with power. This is because it is the characteristics of the rhetoric to exercise power before a companion notices it. I wanted to analyze the language act used by the everyday medical practice based on the above from the point of view of the rhetoric. Moreover, language means more than just a conversation, including also discourse and description. Therefore, I extended the view of this thesis to combine discourse of anthropology and medicine.
