| 内容記述 | The house musk shrew, Suncus murinus are widely distributed on Yonaguni Jima, Tarama Jima, Okinawa Jima, Kume Jima and lheya Jima in Okinawa Prefecture. Up to date, two genera and four species of hymenolepidid cestode: Vampirolepis jakounezumi, V. gracilistrobila, V.okinawaensis and Staphylocystis(Staphylocystis) suncusensis, have been recorded from S. murinus of Okinawa Jima and Kume Jima. At the present investigation, V. jakounezumi and V. gracilistrobila have been recorded from S. murinaus of Iheya Jima, Yonaguni Jima and Tarama lima, respectively. Of these, V. gracilistrobila and S. (S.) suncusensis have been also recorded from S. mueinus of Taiwan. From the viewpoint of the host-parasite relationship between shrews and their cestodes, some shrews of Rhyukyu Shotô seem to have some probability of a distributional connection with those of Taiwan. | |||||||
