 note = {高齢者施設における老人性難聴者の聞こえ方の理解と対応方法を明らかにすることを目的として，職種別アンケート調査を行った．対象は，長崎県内の介護老人保健施設や軽費老人ホームの822名の職員，長崎大学医療技術短期大学部学生62名であった．老人性難聴の実態や対応方法は，職種や経験年数の違いによってばらつきがみられた．その要因には，教育的背景や職種による業務の違い，経験による学習効果などが考えられた．家族指導では，補聴器や福祉機器の利用の必要性も示された．今後，老人性難聴の実態を十分に認知させ，対応技術の向上により職種や経験の差をなくし，家族に対しての指導も充実させる必要があると考えられた．, A survey to determine the understanding among different health care professions of hearing impairment in the elderly, and its management was conducted. 822 employees at 37 nursing care institutions for elderly people and low expense nursing homes and 62 students of the Nagasaki University, School of Health Sciences were surveyed. The results indicated that understanding the conditions of hearing loss and its management differed with occupation and number of years of experience. The differences resulted from educational background, type of work and experience. The necessity for familiarity with hearing aids and other welfare equipment was indicated with regards to instructing family members. The condition of hearing loss should be fully understood by the personnel engaged in nursing care for the elderly. It is also important to narrow the differences in hearing loss management resulting from occupations and experience by improving training.
