| 内容記述 | Seasonal and climatic conditions play an important role in shaping population health outcomes, particularly in the context of climate change. Research in environmental epidemiology has examined the seasonality of mortality and morbidity, the health impacts of non-optimal temperatures, and how these patterns may be modified under a warming climate. Recent work includes multicountry studies quantifying the contribution of temperature to seasonal mortality variation, projection studies assessing shifts in seasonal health burdens under future climate scenarios, and nationwide investigations in Japan highlighting the combined influences of climate change, population aging, and adaptation on temperature-related mortality and morbidity. Looking ahead, addressing emerging climate-related health risks will require strengthened multidisciplinary and international collaboration to improve exposure assessment, translate evidence into policy-relevant indicators, and support effective public health adaptation strategies. | |||||||
