In one patient, application of extracorporeal circulation was accomplished to perform a complete resection and also to permit patch plasty to compensate volume diminution. En bloc resection on extracorporeal circulation is recommended for patients with limited cancer extension of squamous cell carcinomas without nodal involvement.
