Accordingly this study aimed at the evaluation of the social benefits resulting form various alternative land usage after the completion of the project. In doing so, a questionnaire survey is conducted and the results are compared with that of a similar study conducted in 2001. The results of the study showed that, the present objective of using the reclaimed land as ‘farmland’ has the highest social value. The willingness to pay for ‘returning the reclaimed lands to wetland’ has reduced.
