In this study, the possibility of perceiving forest vegetation structure was investigated by using permeability of microwaves. A case study in the Mt. Kompira, Nagasaki City with JERS-1/SAR imagery, revealed that simple analysis finds few useful information of the forest vegetation structure in the study area. The persevering analysis, including the carpet bombing of image processing procedures and choosing the more applicable study area, should be tested in the future for completing the study object., 長崎大学工学部研究報告 Vol.33(61) p. 149-154, 2003}, pages = {149--154}, title = {レーダ・リモートセンシングを用いた森林の植生構造把握の試み}, volume = {33}, year = {2003} }
