The mean age, body height, body weight, and body mass index(BMI) of the six subjects were 42.9years, 157.1cm, 66.7kg, and 127.2kg/㎡, respectively. After eight weeks, the body weight decreased by 3.6kg, and the %body fat by 4.5%. Both systolic and diastolic blood pressures were reduced. The heart rate during submaximal exercise decreased slightly, and the ventilation volume and oxygen intake increased. Among serum lipids, triglyceride, total cholesterol (T-C) , and low density lipoprotein cholesterol decreased, and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and HDL-C/T-C increased. From these results, short-term training under complete supervision is considered to cause decreases in body fat and improvements in the respiratory and circulatory functions, and serum lipid levels in mildly obese middle-aged women, and to contribute to prevention of adult diseases., 長崎大学教養部紀要. 人文科学篇. 1996, 37(1), p.259-267}, pages = {259--267}, title = {短期間の監視型有酸素トレーニングが中年女子 肥満傾向者の形態,血圧,有酸素能力, 血清脂質に及ほす効果}, volume = {37}, year = {1996} }
