 note = {目的 : 男性看護師に対する女性患者の認知度,ニーズを把握し,男性看護師のケアのあり方を明らかにするために質問紙調査を行った.方法 : N大学医学部附属病院の一般病棟に入院する女性患者188人を対象として,質問紙調査を行った.調査内容は患者の背景,男性看護師の認知度,必要性,男性看護師から看護を受けた経験の有無などである.調査期間は平成14年11月11日～平成15年1月31日である.結果 : 1.男性看護師の認知度は高かったが,実際に男性看護師から看護を受けた経験がある人は34人(18.9%)と2割に満たなかった.男性看護師を必要と回答した人は97人(53.9%)と過半数を超えていた.2.男性看護師に看護を受けた経験がある患者,男性看護師が勤務する病棟の患者は「男性看護師が必要」と認識している人が有意に多かった.3.男性看護師から看護を受ける場合の女性患者の反応では,羞恥心が伴うケア,処置においては「女性看護師と代わる」が多く,特に十分な配慮が必要である., Purpose : Questionnaire investigation was done to find out a degree of recognition of woman patients toward man nurses and-those needs. Method : Questionnaire investigation was done targeting 188 woman patients who entered the general ward of the N university hospital of medicine and dentistry. Contents of investigation are in such cases as a patient's background, a degree of recognition of man nurses, the experience of receiving nursing from man nurses, the need. Result : 1. A degree of recognition of man nurses was high. Patients with the experience of receiving nursing from man nurses were 34 people, 18.9% less than 20%. Patients who admitted the need of man nurses was 97 people, 53.9%. 2. Patients who had the experience that man nurses cared for it admitted the need of man nurses. Patients who was in the ward which man nurses was working in evaluated man nurses high, too. 3.
