In the present study, we investigated the levels of dietary phytoestrogens, organochlorine pesticides and the estrogenic activity of various diets for an experimental fish and discuss the potential contribution of these substances to estrogenic activity, in comparison with those used in previous studies. After hydrolysis with β-glucuronidase, genistein and daidzein were detected in all of the diets, and there were no significant differences in the contents of these substances among present and previous investigations. In addition, organochlorine pesticides, such as hexachlorobenzene (HCB), β-benzene hexachloride (β-BHC), γ-BHC, trans-nonachlor, and/or endrin, were detected in most fish diets. All of these diets exhibited higher levels of activation of β estrogen receptors than with α estrogen receptors in an in vitro yeast-based bioassay. These results indicate that phytoestrogens, such as genistein and daidzein, were the main substances contributing to the estrogenic activity of the diet. Moreover, some diets may exert estrogenic activity in in vivo tests, indicating the necessity for more careful selection of the feeding diet and measurement of estrogenic substances when performing routine screening assays for endocrine-disrupting chemicals.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_description_63":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Journal of Health Science v.51(2) p.212-219, 2005","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Pharmaceutical Society of Japan"}]},"item_2_relation_12":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isIdenticalTo","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"10.1248/jhs.51.212","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_2_relation_42":{"attribute_name":"関係URI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"http://dx.doi.org/10.1248/jhs.51.212"}]}]},"item_2_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11316464","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_2_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"13449702","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"EISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1347-5207","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_2_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Matsuoka, Munekazu"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ishibashi, Hiroshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ushijima, Marie"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Inudo, Makiko"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Honda, Eiko"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Iwahara, Masayoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Cho, Hyeon-Seo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ishibashi, Yasuhiro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Arizono, Koji"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-12-24"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"JHS51_212.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"252.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"JHS51_212.pdf","url":"https://nagasaki-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/23153/files/JHS51_212.pdf"},"version_id":"8e55652c-b787-463c-b7ba-5b05db085abe"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"endocrine-disrupting chemical","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"phytoestrogen","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"organochlorine pesticide","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"estrogenic activity","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"fish diet","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"The Potential Contribution of Phytoestrogens and Organochlorine Pesticides in an Experimental Fish Diet to Estrogenic Activity","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"The Potential Contribution of Phytoestrogens and Organochlorine Pesticides in an Experimental Fish Diet to Estrogenic Activity"}]},"item_type_id":"2","owner":"2","path":["56"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2007-10-12"},"publish_date":"2007-10-12","publish_status":"0","recid":"23153","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["The Potential Contribution of Phytoestrogens and Organochlorine Pesticides in an Experimental Fish Diet to Estrogenic Activity"],"weko_creator_id":"2","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-16T00:58:47.037118+00:00"}
