The M6.5 and M7.3 earthquakes occurred on April 14th and 16th continuously by moving the Futagawa fault and Hinagu fault in Kumamoto prefecture. Seismic intensity 5 was observed in Minami-shimabara in Nagasaki prefecture which was known as the area with low seismic hazard level. This report summarizes the results of the response analysis based on the recorded strong motions at 14 seismographs in Nagasaki.
