The adults are maintained in screened cages (60×60×30 cm for C. infantulus and 30×30×20 cm for T. bambusa) placed in the laboratory with daily photoperiod of 16 hours normal white light and 30 minutes each of dawn and dusk lighting conditions. Temperatures range from 24 to 26 C and relative humidity is 70 to 80 percent.
