The right ovary which was considered to be the primary portion of the tumor had been resected 2 months before the patient died. At autopsy, systemic enlargement of lymph nodes was noted. However, the lower jaw and orbits were intact. Numerous "starry sky" formations in tumor tissue in the ovary and also in lymph nodes could be observed, but not in metastatic foci in other organs such as kidneys, pancreas, adrenal glands, heart, liver and lungs. Histological findings of this case is characterized by systemic proliferation of "starry sky" in primary organ and in lymph nodes, but not in other organs. The feature of the cell of "starry sky" were examined by several staining methods and series sections. We may suppose that the pattern of "starry sky" is significant to make diagnosis of Burkitt's tumor., 熱帯医学 Tropical medicine 17(1). p41-45, 1975}, pages = {41--45}, title = {Burkitt腫瘍の一剖検例特にstarry skyの動態について}, volume = {17}, year = {1975} }
