In many cases, wind farms are located far from residential area due to their noise, wind availability, wind speeds and local weather conditions. From the economical and environmental point of view, it should be considered to reduce experts for operation and maintenance of wind turbine. For this purpose, the remote monitoring system which provides the operation and supervisory functions for wind farms has been required. This paper presents that the local network for the large-scale wind farm is realized and the multi-thread is effective to improve the total through-put of communication between server and the wind-turbines. At first the feature of the remote monitoring system is reviewed. Next, the procedure to derive the optimum number of thread is presented.
