In this study, the authors try to evaluate the environmental sound field created by river stream or waves washed against the shore.The authors recorded the sound at the upper, the middle, and the lower reaches of the stream of the Honmyo-gawa River, Isahaya city, Nagasaki. Based on the recorded data, the 1/f-fluctuations was simulated and the comfort at each location was evaluated.
