Majority of them are IS014000. The international standard IS014000 is an EMS created based on the British BS7750. However, in Europe, an EMS harsher than IS014000 is in widespread use. Recently in Japan, unique environmental management systems such as the KES (for small to medium sized firms) and the LAS-E (for local governments) based on the ISO14000 have appeared on reason that the introduction of the IS014000 is too heavy a burden for small to medium sized firms and have particulars that are not appropriate for local governments and educational institutions. Many EMS based on the IS014000 have appeared, but in this paper, we have clarified their differences and characteristics by analyzing their standards in detail., 長崎大学総合環境研究 6(2), p.61-69; 2004}, pages = {61--69}, title = {多様化する環境マネジメントシステムの比較研究}, volume = {6}, year = {2004} }
