Therefore, it has an established community development council in 13 districts, including the Okuura district. Through these councils, residents and the city hall are working together on area management in various areas. This has enabled them to take detailed initiatives that the government alone could not manage. As a result, the sustainability of the area is improved. On the other hand, in Goto City, some churches registered as World Heritage sites are attracting attention. In addition to supporting the lives of the elderly, the Okuura district, with its famous Dozaki church, has been conducting activities targeting tourists.
