The aim of this review was to clarify the resilience and\nprotective factors that affect the relationship between child abuse and HRQoL. Systematic searches of electronic bibliographic databases were conducted using keywords related to child abuse, child maltreatment, HRQoL, resilience, and social support. The initial literature search produced 128 results, from which 17 articles were finally selected. The following items were reported as resilience and protective factors. At the individual level, the factors included mental condition, symptoms of depression, physical condition, daily living situation, health promotion behavior, extent of resilience, and emotional support. At the family level, the factors included family structure and the parents' relationship. At the community level, the factors included social support networks and community support.
