 note = {目的：本調査の目的は，長崎県内における地域特性と住民の食生活に関する情報を整理し，地域特性に応じた保健計画やまちづくり計画の立案および地域保健活動の展開に寄与する資料とすることである．
方法：長崎県南島原市，松浦市，波佐見町においてそれぞれの地域の食生活をよく知るキーインフォーマントに半構造化グループインタビューを行った．対象地域の特徴およびインタビュー内容をコミュニティ・アズ・パートナーモデルに基づいてまとめ地域アセスメントを行い地域特性と食生活の現状から地域保健計画・まちづくり計画までの関連をしめすモデル図を作成した．
結果：調査対象の3地域の年齢階級別人口構成，地理的条件，産業構造に異なる特徴がみられた．それぞれの地域の食生活，日常的に摂取する食品や食品の入手行動は地域特性を反映していた．家庭菜園で栽培された野菜は，自家消費用の他，近隣の住民間で授受が行われ，良い人間関係を保つことに役立っていた．いずれの地域においても買物のための交通手段には自家用車を利用していた．買物のための交通支援が必要であるとの声がきかれた．
結論：長崎県内の3地域の住民の食生活には，居住地域の地理的条件，人口構成，産業構造等の地域特性が関連していることが示唆された．地域特性に関連した食生活および食を通した地域活動を活用した地域保健計画やまちづくり計画を策定することが必要である．
Objective: The aim of this study was to characterize dietary habits in three areas of Nagasaki Prefecture paying special attention to the local context.
Methods: We conducted semi-structured key-informant group interviews with residents who were familiar with the diet and lifestyles in Minami-Shimabara City, Matsuura City, and Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Results: Demographic structure, geographical features and occupational structure were contrasting among the three study areas. We could speculate that local areasʼ characteristics were associated with dietary habits such as consumption frequently of specific food items (e.g., fish). Vegetables grown in home gardens were not only self-consumed but also were gifted to neighbors, which probably contributed to maintain good relationships in a community. Most people needed to drive a car for shopping, which suggested the future needs of public transportation system that will enable shopping of very old people.
Conclusion: Contrasting dietary habits were found in three areas of Nagasaki prefecture, which have probably formulated in relation to local conditions.
