According to artisans in the village, Tho Ha was one of three oldest ceramic centers from Vietnam with a long-standing ceramic history. Tho Ha ceramic flourished from the 14th century. According to family records of the trade village and archaeological objects discovered, Tho Ha is one of the cradles of ceramic industry. Products of this trade village used to be famous in all the country. From the foundation of ceramic industry to the early 90s of the 20th century, all the villagers live on ceramic. This village was an economic center for ceramic, full of kilns, businessmen, and boats trading in ceramic. Tho Ha ceramic products are inimitable as they are the high crockery, waterproof, and smooth bred-brown color. As time changes, the ceramic - making trade has become the past.
