 note = {This paper is the research report on smallpox tombs located in the Goto archipelago, Nagasaki prefecture. During the Edo period, smallpox patients in the Goto archipelago were forcibly isolated deep in the mountains, on the coast, or on remote islands. Most of the patients died while in isolation and were buried near the isolation site. Their graves have been found in various places in the Goto archipelago. This paper introduces the graves of smallpox patients and the burial grounds of those who died of epidemics other than smallpox on Fukue Island, Nakadori Island, and Kashiragashima Island, analyzes their location and distribution, and examines their relationship with Hidden Christian graves., 多文化社会研究, 9, pp.139-162; 2023},
