In the 2018-19 academic year, TOEFL ITP \ntests were administered prior to, during, and after completion of the \nSCAS Program to measure receptive language abilities (i.e., reading, \nlistening, structure and written expression of English). Additionally, \nstudents completed pre and posttests to measure productive language \nabilities (i.e., writing, speaking) prior to instruction and following \ncompletion of the program. Results from these assessments were \nexamined using paired sample t-tests, which revealed statistically \nsignificant improvements in student abilities following completion of \nthe SCAS Program.
