Compared to deionized water as a control, 200mm NaCl and 100mm Na2HPO4 significantly attracted L3 (P<0.01 and P<0.01), whereas L3 were likely to avoid 200mm KCl and 100mm K2HPO4 (P<0.05 and P<0.05). L3 showed no significant tendency to avoid or to be attracted to 200mm CaCl2 and 200mm MgCl2. Furthermore, NaCl exhibited a significant chemoattractant activity for L3 at a low concentration of 100mm., Journal of Helminthology, 86(4), pp.406-409; 2012}, pages = {406--409}, title = {In vitro chemotactic responses of Brugia pahangi infective larvae to sodium ions}, volume = {86}, year = {2012} }
